This is the first post. It exists so the build has something to render, and so I have somewhere to put the rules.

What this is

Long-form notes on distributed systems, platform engineering, and the organisational physics that break them. Written from incidents, not slide decks.

Rules

  1. Every post starts from something that actually happened.
  2. Code blocks are real and were run.
  3. If I was wrong, the post gets an updated date and a correction, not a quiet edit.
